I am fascinated by the variety of criticism of President Obama and his handling of Syria.
I am enjoying how things are playing out with the progression of pursuing diplomacy over warfare. Yes, his approach is messy. But diplomacy/negotiation/confrontation is always messy, it is never “clean”.
It seems odd to me that we would rather have so-called “clean” strikes with sophisticated weapons, than the messy process of humility and vulnerability that is required in good old-fashioned peaceful solutions.
I don’t know about you, but I would prefer the messiness of diplomacy to the messiness of young soldiers with their limbs hanging off.
